Ms. Sarah
Owner, Director, Teacher
Ms. Sarah has over 40 years of dance experience, starting her studies at the age of 3 with ballet and tap. She has continued her education throughout the years and in many states with classes, workshops, Master Classes, and her own lessons broadening her love of dance and deepening her knowledge through ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. Experience through musical theater has taught Ms. Sarah the building blocks of production and performance. Opening this studio was a lifelong dream to provide a safe, encouraging environment for dancers of all skill levels. Sarah loves to watch her students grow, succeed, and be better than they were the day before.

Ms. Danielle
Acro/Jazz/Lyrical/Musical Theater/Team Instructor
Ms. Danielle started dance and gymnastics at 2 and a half, where she fell in love with the stage. She brings a vast array of experience to RMDC and her students including over 30 years of dance experience, over 10 years of competitive gymnastics, a background in cheer and dance team as well as theater. Danielle holds a B.A in Child Development and Education and a Minor in Theater Arts. Beginning her formal Dance Instructor career in 2013, Ms. Danielle has won numerous awards for both her own performances as well as those she has choreographed for her students. Her classes show a love of creativity and a sense of family. She is passionate about teaching, believes that you are never too old to start dancing, and is thrilled to share her joy with the RMDC Family

Ms. Kat
Ballroom Instructor
Ms. Kat has been dancing for 15 years and was a founding member of the Ballroom Dance Society at Christopher Newport University. Ms. Kat teaches salsa, cha cha, rumba, tango, waltz, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, and swing dancing. She teaches a social ballroom style and has also choreographed pieces for formal events. She is a big believer that anyone can learn to dance and that every song has ballroom potential!

Ms. Anastacia
Ballet / Hip Hop
Ms. Ana grew up in the Washington DC area and is trained in a variety of styles. She brings over 20 years of experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, gymnastics, and arial dance. Ms. Ana has danced with several local competitive dance studios and trained at The Washington Ballet till 2013. Her extensive professional experience includes multiple professional dance teams and companies, touring companies, conventions, and competitions. Ms. Ana has also been featured in music videos and national advertisements. Settling back into the DMV area with her husband and babies, she looks forward to sharing her experiences and knowledge with the next generation of dancers and performers.

Ms. Ashley
Multiple Genres
Ms. Ashley began her dance journey at the age of three at Barton and Williams School of Dance and has trained at multiple studios in the DMV area. As a student, she has studied under a variety of instructors and choreographers and was privately instructed by Corey-Jeanne Houck Cox for three years. Ms. Ashley was accepted to study at Virginia School of the Arts, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Richmond Ballet and the Washington Ballet. Professionally teaching at studios in the NOVA area, Ms. Ashley has come back to her roots in Stafford to share her experience and love of dance with her students.

Ms. Heather
Pre School
Ms. Heather has been training in a variety of dance styles for over a decade. She has been lucky, as a military child, to experience the teachings of numerous teachers and dance environments which has provided her diversity in her teaching abilities. Ms. Heather loves working with younger dancers and finds helping them be successful, very rewarding. She loves having the opportunity to pass on her experience to dancers of all age
